Gingham nails are cute and sweet! You often see the pattern on picnic blankets which makes it a great look for Spring 2013!
1) Start off with two coats of white polish and let it dry for 2-3 minutes (which is about the time it take you to paint both hands)
2) If your polish's brush isn't thin enough, use a small small paintbrush to brush two lines down the length of your nail & let dry for at least 5 minutes
3) After the two vertical lines are dry enough, use your brush again to paint horizontal lines down the length of the nail
If you've pulled the look off successfully you should have lines that darken when they cross, giving you the perfect gingham effect!
